.. well (risks a serious comment) the planet is full enough. Perhaps all men should be chopped. After a max of one springoff maybe.

Just been to see my doctor and after telling her what I'd been upto she was ready to give me the implant there and then!! I managed to come away with a prescription for the pill. I guess I'd better start taking them!

I've tried the Combined Pill, which I liked, but had to stop taking because I get migraines.... I've tried the mini-pill (POP) which the first time was horrendous - continuous periods...good contraception, I suppose... Then I tried the depo injection which was pretty good - no periods, but very low sex drive too, which I found more than a little frustrating. I'm now back on the mini-pill, this time Cerazette, which works a lot better than the first attempt at the mini pill, but has similar side affects to the depo... hmmm. What is a girl to do?? There doesn't seem to be one good answer - or the one I think is good, I am not allowed

I don't need the contraception either (batting for the same side as Stepford wife ) but have to say the Mirena coil rocks. I've had the best part of a decade with no cycles, no PMT, nowt whatsoever. If you've not had kids best plan is a get it done day case under general anasthetic. Not had a single problem with it.

I had the injection on and off for years. As I got older, my periods returned when I previously didn't have any whilst on the injection. Then I came off the injection and bled for three months. Docs FINALLY took me srsly and gave me something to stop it.
I will never again have the injection.
After Malachi, I had the mirena coil. I had no side effects whatsoever (apart from they left the threads too long and it stabbed somewhat - It was quickly rectified) it was 'put in' in minutes and didn't hurt.
I will be having the mirena again once this baby is born and would recommend anyone who wants a contraception change to research/ask about it.

LOL Chromey we must both be enjoying knocked-upness so much as we're lurking here.
I will need to get my head round this after Cuthbert as was very lax last time but knew we wanted another. Not so this time.
I think your options are more limited if you breastfeed, aren't they? I am planning to feed for at least a year if I can.
