I was kicking myself for not having switched my Garmin on for the long walk to board the ferry at Cairnryan and log a zone. Will get it on the return journey.

That is a great blog. I need to get more creative with my naming.

I'm about to lose a chunk of lawn, as my ride from Norwich to Ipswich last year is about to expire. This currently connects all my Suffolk activity to home via the Norwich ride, so need to get on and connect Stowmarket up with Ipswich.
Today it's 1525 (showing as 1512 on the leaderboard) but that will probably drop quite a bit overnight...

57.5 Degrees of Pain
Can you still hammer down the side of the A14 for a direct route MsG? I always thought the guys time trialling down the then A45 were mad when I lived there.

I had the same problem when my major bike ride linking the Highlands and Morayshire to Perthshire, Stirlingshire and Glasgow dropped off. Then I accidentally reset my home zone to my mum's and dropped off the table briefly till I realised.

Dropped to 1396, ouch!
Which bit of the A14 57.5DoP? I've been on the cycle route through Claydon which was not a great experience.

I've got a few other commitments in the next couple of weeks so something in that area will have to wait.

57.5DoP, I live next to the Cambridge section of the A14 :-( .

The upgraded section of the A14 is prohibited to cyclists, but the new ancillary local roads next to it from Cambridge to Huntingdon have very good wide smooth cycle/footpaths. The problem is that one has to slow down/stop at the frequent junctions which are only 1 or 2 miles apart.

I used to cycle to and from work along the A14 when it was much quieter, especially very early in the mornings!

57.5 Degrees of Pain
I lived in Stowmarket in the late 80s and mid 90s. The road is probably much busier now!

The whole of the A14 most certainly is much busier since it was redesignated as the major trunk road from the Felixstowe docks to the Midlands!

Has the conquered in vain button gone? I need to hand back a couple of zones I ‘visited’ by train after failing to stop my watch but I can’t see it.
