Often keep the old name if it relates to the geographical features of the place, but preface it with "WK" (a confusing reference to my real world name, which made sense to me years ago but is a pointless tradition now)

I note this name has remained even though neither Beanie nor I are near the top of the list anymore (it's Hastings parkrun hence more visitors - including roverman). I also (apparently) own Beanie's Palace but don't have the heart to change it. I don't really care about any squares as long as I keep hold of Dalston. Which is rightfully mine.

Although I may have been known to list a few like 'nothing but bog' or 'nearly all sea' when they have been particularly empty. I do dislike someone naming a zone for a little bit in one corner, when I know it for something in the other corner. So have to rename those.
