NDWDave: My Parents have a house near Uzes in a smallish town called St Qentin La Poterie. Both Uzes and St Q are well worth a visit if you are still in the area.
What are the ethics about claiming historic zones via plotted routes?
Would these even register?
I would have to do some digging for correct dates etc but I could claim some kayaking and swimming in the local rivers there. I did log running zones back in the day.

no problem NJO and yes, it works if you plot a route and then manually add training based on that route. You can even delete the training entry and the zone sticks. This means you don’t have to worry about exact time, date, duration etc.

I'll change my name if and when something more appropriate comes along. I'm embracing my 40+ life and figure. It is an accurate description (compared to when I joined the site) and not one I see as negative.

ITG: as in you are saying where you are relatively? Sounds fair. And modest without being self-critical.
In other matters, I should start planning some trips to actually starting exploring more of these squares. Or just sign up for new races!

I'm not offended, Chris. And Roberton, yes: it is "fatter" not "fat". I decided at age 40 that life is too short to worry about a little middle-age-spread. I also live in an Italian household and don't have much willpower .
