For the first time since we bought it six years ago we're spending Christmas at our Norfolk holiday cottage (which we normally rent out to other people) - with various in-laws making ten of us in total. We came in two cars, and at about 8:30 tonight (30 minutes after the local supermarket closed) Mrs J said "you did bring the turkey didn't you". "Was it not in the bag with all the other food?" "No, I left it in the hall". It's going to be a 'creative' Christmas dinner!!

I’m already feeling a bit overwhelmed with even quiet company and was glad of being able to take the dog for longer walk than she wanted today for some introvert time. My Christmas Day will be lovely but I will find being with more people than usual a challenge, even though I like them all a lot.
