Its ok its manageable because its low grade that means it grows very slowly so my 5-yr survivorship is pretty good.

Hello folks,

I just wanted to point you at the article by Canute:

http://www.fetcheveryone.com/cms-39

It would be good to hear your thoughts in the comments box at the bottom, and if anyone would be willing to contribute further in the form of an article, that would be great - drop me a line.

I'm off now to post this on the other running style threads :-)

Where did all this dust come from? And these cobwebs? And what is that ghastly-looking figure in the shadows?

Oh. It's HOD. Sorry mate.

Just checking in to say that I'm making a lot of use of the little I know about Chi running and walking as part of my rehab, including the looseners.

Still very much at the Form stage of the Form - Distance - Pace progression but I'll get there. :-)

Columba
Found this thread by accident. Is there any mileage in resurrecting it? I've just read the Chi running book, which was recommended to me as I have been having problems with my left knee.

Happy to help you resurrect it Columba. I'm still keeping the faith after all these years.

I booked into a chi running workshop for March, looking forward to it. Not sure they will be able to conquer all my bad running habits in a few hours. Anyone been on one?

About This Thread

Maintained by fetcheveryone
Chi Running is a running technique which was developed by Danny Dreyer an ultra marathon runner who is a long time runner and student of T’ai Chi. The two main themes are energy efficiency and injury prevention. It combines the central movement principles of T’ai Chi with the sport of running to create a technique that shifts the workload toward your core muscles, allowing your leg muscles to work less. The results are increased efficiency and a significant reduction in injuries.
