Did you see the course?- I reckon you'd call it "flat". My missus always goes on about "the hill" at about 11 miles. It must be about a 20ft rise in say 200 yards, so nothign to write home about.
Look out for a great 150 yard finishing straight on the grass - lined with people on both sides. If you can burn anyone off here it feels great.

yeah i know the course i got loads of client's between handbridge and pulford, i live up by llangollen at the mo and doing a lot of hill training so hopefully the inclines wont be too much hasle, i ran to llan and back last sunday which is 13 bang on and did it 2.02.18, a couple more train's like that i should be in good stead, plus just got a new pair of pegasus 28's so should be nice and cumfy for the half *:-)* watch this

yeah hoping for 1.58, i was going to do the wrexham half with a freind who is the same standard as me , i had to pull out with a groin injury and he did it in 1.53, so hopefully be comin in around 1.50-2.0 goin for the sub 2 tho gona run like a down the home straight

Yes I am doing it. MyChestr PB is about 1:28:06 I think, but won't beat that. I managed Wrexham in 1:29:15 and think I have improved slightly since then. However Wrexham was in a howling wind (some top drafting that day by the way) so sub 1:29 is on if it's a still day.
I hope you manage your sub 2. Frankly on your form with a Big Guy taper special* you should manage it comfortably.
*The DBG taper special is 13 miles hard 7 days before followed by zero miles in the next week. Maybe you can do 5 DEAD SLOW on Tuesday but no more.

im goin to have to try this, as i seem to be getting slower the more miles i accumilate, i did 13 miles on the hill's yesterday a.m i'll go and do 5-6 miles on tue or wed and then rest till sunday, is this your method?
