I actually went through Christmas Day without having any of the "proper" cheeses, just some brie bites with cranberry sauce as a starter. Plan to rectify things later.

Raptors Claws are coming to town
We were at the ancestors' place for Christmas and they don't go in much for cheese. There might have been some half-fat mild cheddar in the fridge if I'd been desperate.
