Mines often a car key rather than house key and is either in a flip belt or bum bag (so said belt). But I don’t trust the plastic clip so have added mini carabiner clips to these and vest pack 🤗

Mine sort of depends - if it’s my house key, it will usually be in an arm band, although on a longer run I may take either a belt or running vest-style backpack, and put the keys in there.
Car key, if my husband isn’t hanging on to them, I’ll keep in a zipped back-pocket on my running shorts. Incidentally, I am amazed how many women’s running shorts have no pockets whatsoever, or only have tiny non-securable pockets. Having been caught out with this a few times, I now double-check before buying shorts that they have pockets.

I often leave a house key hidden somewhere. I hate carrying them.

If I need to carry a key (house or car) I either put it in a zipped pocket or in my buddy pouch.

Wow I'm the only one so far who ties them into the drawstring of their shorts? I think it just feels more trustworthy than a pocket. Even zipped pockets can slowly have holes worn on the inside by keys and I worry they could disappear without me noticing. On the front, with slightly audible 'jingle jangle', gives me more chance of noticing if they were to fall out. (The keys, not anything else!)

I only carry a single key, so there would be no 'jingle'. On a flip belt the key's on a clip, and it's pressed against me, so it feels quite secure (having said that, I'll probably lose it on my next run!)

I’m amazed how many people have keys hidden places. I’ve never ever done that.

Nor me, Dio; I'd expect to come home to find the place had been ransacked!

Yes LG, I've got a small buddy pouch. Bought it at the Running Show. Several pairs of shorts/leggings don't have pockets so were only worn for gym, or when I didn't need to carry anything. The buddy pouch means that all my kit can be worn!
