Sorry to hear your news pedro. Awful to lose two cats in such a short time.

More sad cat news - Agent Peggy Catter (aka Floor) has some sort of very nasty feline virus that requires an extended course of treatment (84 days with an injection every day! poor wee mite), so the rescue charity have offered either a refund of the fee I've already paid, for me to look at other pairs of kittens that are available at the moment, or for me to hold out the next 80 days (treatment started on Friday) for Peggy and Lenore.

I don't particularly want to leave getting kittens until late March, as we're supposed to be going away for a couple of weeks at the end of May/start of June and I'd prefer to have much longer for them to settle before we do that (although I'm not ruling out bloody covid scuppering that plan anyway).

There another adorable looking pair with a foster family not far from where P&L are currently, so I've called the person who has has them to see if we could go over this evening. She didn't answer though, so I've had to leave a voicemail in a mix of broken dutch and english.

I'm pretty thoroughly demoralised by it all, tbh.

Yes, I bet! Good luck on your quest to make 2 cats very happy. Peggy sounds in a bad way... :(

Apparently she's already perked up massively since starting the treatment, Hann, so that's a good start! It also has a very high success rate for complete recovery, so in three months she should be absolutely fine.
I just don't know if I can wait that long.
