There was a very rapid feline response: Polly managed a double kill breakfast - mouse at 6am, bird at 6:15am (the door to the outside is locked overnight, opened about 5:55, so she must've been speedy). Both dispatched cleanly, just rodent gut and 4 feathers left for me to clean up.

One day you're going to come downstairs, and one of them will be sitting in a box with the expression on their face so often modelled by young Dio, that "I know I'm being cheeky and adorable, now lavish me with attention and Dreamies" look.
