Fortunately she came out again a couple of hours later and straight into our trap but not before I’d had visions of taking a sledgehammer to the walls!

She has collar and microchip but is still very skittish and unlikely to come to humans. We have asked cat sitter to open a window and are hoping that Pascal will bring her home. It will be well below zero with lots of snow. Not sure if that is good or bad - she won't last long out there if lost but that might promt her to go home.
