P&R doesn't normally start until 9:00 on Sundays (at Madingley Road & Babraham Road, anyway - not sure if it's the same for all of them). I assume they've got the council to start the buses early at those two sites only.

@Badger - ta. I have to admit that while the extra bit at the end of the 2012 course looked a bit naff in that it was hardly the best Cambridge had to offer, it at least looked like fast running - in contrast to some of the ankle twisting bends in the centre!
If the course continues to pass within 50 yards of my house I'll be a happy bunny - or Mrs, toddler, and baby Nutkey will be

The last three miles were the consistently fastest for me last year, but that's my usual approach to halves. With people streaming in the other direction quite close by, it was actually really hard to overtake anybody. I did the Wandlebury trail run last weekend and the bit up and down the Roman road felt quite similar, with the little difference that there were a grand total of 92 runners so it actually wasn't that difficult overtaking.
