That's a scary thing, Dave. Almost as scary as arriving by dinghy to be greeted not by Captain Mainwairing but a frontiersman.

They've missed a trick, I feel.

"A new royal family, a wild nobility - become a King (or Queen) of the wild frontier!"

Driver Standards Department name change

Driver Standards Department name change from 17 April 2023

The Driver Standards Department will become the Driver Risk Unit as of 17 April 2023.

The internal email address will cease to be on the address book and will be replaced by Driver Risk Unit.

After the change, anyone who has previously sent an email to the shared mailbox called Driver Standards Department will have to search for the new name of Driver Risk Unit. The old name may still appear within their email address book as a frequently contact. They have to update their global address book.

I've just had a meeting with our Youth Justice Manager. She's very competent and very switched on and I was thoroughly impressed - but it's a rum old job title, isn't it? Or is it just me that thinks it strange.
