Not far from being a pillock, are you? Youth justice work is *probably* rewarding, no *definitely* rewarding, when you are involved in the change of a single young life. But the tide of *others* could definitely sweep you away.

Our youth justice work (mercifully) has a lot of focus on educating/guiding/coaching people away from offending.

Dear all

As part of the plaster repair in the Combination Room there will be no access to the coffee machine or the sink on Monday morning, 17 April 2023 ,while the area directly above is being worked on. The contractors hope that that section of work will be complete by 12noon when access to caffeine and hot chocolate will be restored.

I've just had a meeting with our Youth Justice Manager. She's very competent and very switched on and I was thoroughly impressed - but it's a rum old job title, isn't it? Or is it just me that thinks it strange.


I notice our local community policing team offi es have a plaque on the door advertising the "Youth Offending Team". :-o

Yep - we had a YOT until recently. There’s a whole acronym salad. We may still have CYPOs as well (Children and Young Person Officers)
