Earlier on in the roof works I sent out a picture of a decorative stone finial that had come off the roof. I’ve attached a series of pictures showing the process of repairing and replacing it. The work to put a new head on the headless

CILIP need your views

CILIP, the library and information association, wants to broaden pathways into the information profession and provide parity to the value of experiential and blended ways of becoming professionals in the library and information sector. To help achieve this they are looking to redesign and relaunch professional registration in a format that works for all levels of the profession.

The first part of that puzzle is coming to a future-fit, inclusive definition of what it means to be “professional”, so they have set out a paper and are inviting feedback through the online survey below. The deadline is the 17th October:
