Unfortunately Hansen's have advised us that they will not be able to offer their sandwich van service for the foreseeable future.

Update - 22/8

Bon Appetite will be adding us to their round (hopefully starting on Friday 23 August)

Have you lost a wedding ring?

A wedding ring has been found during the clearance of Chelmsford police station

The wedding band was found in the female changing room area of the building.

The ring is currently being held for safekeeping in the Media Department at Essex Police College.

I predict that in two days time we have to revert to getting the paper from a locked cupboard once everyone has helped themselves to a few crates of paper each.

Good Afternoon

Over recent months there has been an increase in reports of burns/scalds from the use of the water boilers/taps in the SSC kitchens.
This has led to investigations by Group Health & Safety.

I would like to remind staff to be extra careful when using this equipment as some of the fixed parts are very hot to touch, and obviously the water is boiling.
If these incidents continue we may have to review the provision of boiling water in the kitchens.
