Entry fee was £44 this year. Lol runningmum, was loads of activity in the bushes, saw lots of mens tackle, was quite an eyeopener

Had a crap race after 10k - which were paced ok, nothing daft..... Not happy with myself. Was almost punch drunk at various points on the last half. gutted.
02:21:05 - was looking for between 2 and 2:05 after running the Tynedale 10mile in 95 minutes just 2 weeks ago.
Nice to see folks at the Fetchpoint and Pesto at the start.
I'll be there next year to beat this race once and for all!

I was in the front of the White zone and there seemed to be real problems with hundreds of runners shut out of the Orange 'D' section after 10:30 - eventually resulting in them removing fences themselves. Hopefully no one was hurt. Passed loads of people from the Orange section walking long before the bridge.

Enjoyed it, although I pretty much gave up at 20km! 1.43 ish is my fourth best HM time - It'll do given my Nottingham nonsense last weekend.
I'm watching the GNR coverage from the BBC now...
