Mm yes, but there's a gap between "doesn't bear too many repeat viewings" and "was never any good in the first place", isn't there?

I watched Father Ted when it was first broadcast. it was funny. I own the DVD box set. It is funny. I have watched the regular repeats (It's on More4 virtually every weekend) they are funny. I watched the Christmas Special again last week. It is very funny.

I quote the show on a regular basis. "Small......Far away" gets a regular airing on Fetch.

The beauty of any deathmatch is the difference of opinion. Some people don't think Father Ted is funny and some people do. Some people think Vicar of Dibley is funny and I hate it. We are all entitled to our opinions. Unless you think Mrs Brown's boys is funny, then you are clearly a mental case.

Father Ted for the win.

I think that Small...far away was stolen, chic murray, scots comedian, old. Most comedy is stolen, still Father Ted is very funny, semis.

Over two hundred posts before polling opened must be some kind of record.

Pool A is up.

Pool A's wildcard is Levan, Utah.

Levan is a town in Juab County. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 841, and in 2017 the estimated population was 904. So it's boom town, yes?

My problem with Father Ted is the same with all Channel 4 comedies - they're sort of made on a bit of a budget, and are all supposed to have a sort of slapdash charm. I just find them a bit shambolic and obvious really. The IT Crowd is far worse. It's like a humour-vacuum.
