Ashton Court now does appear on the parkrun map, and the site is live: parkrun.org.uk  There's info on there about the route - may be useful for anyone planning on coming to the trial event this saturday (26th). This is going to be so brilliant. Tell all your friends, etc

Just dropping by for the Ashton Court parkrun team to confirm full trials on 26/3 and 9/4, and the first official event on 23/4. Please register with parkrun by 6pm Friday to run the next day (you only need to register once) and bring your barcode with you, even for the trial runs. I'm afraid the trial times won't form part of your parkrun record, but they will help us get up to speed with the registration, timing and results systems. You should find all the information you need on our website parkrun.org.uk but do get in touch if you have any questions. This parkrun has been a long time in the making. Please join us to make it a really great addition to the Bristol running scene. |

Looks fantastic. Years ago as a student I used to live across the road from the park. What a great place to run. Hopefully I might get to run it one day.

The first trial was covered in Monday's Bristol Evening Post thisisbristol.co.uk Thanks to everyone who ran or volunteered, helping us to test the systems. Next trial is 9/4 and the launch event is 23/4. See you there.
