I hear on the grapevine that Bristol parkrun is due to start on 26th March at Ashton Court. So exciting!  The old thread about trying to get parkrun off the ground in Brizzle seems to have vanished from lack of use, but I remember that quite a lot of fetchies were interested so thought it was worth reprising now that there's news. Mention on BCC website here: bristol.gov.uk Sounds like there's already been a successful trial run - bristolrunningresource.org.uk - wish I'd heard about it beforehand, not after! Did any fetchies go? |

And here is the Amazing Midget! Hi Pammie! Yes, all true and going well. The proposed start date is March 26th and we'll be doing at least one other test before then, trying out the equipment and marshalling, etc. Contact me direct if possible if you know anyone who can volunteer, even on an occasional basis, or keep an eye on Bristol Running Resource website. |

Excellent news MJ Now I know about it I will def keep watchihg the website and will see if can make the next trial when that happens. Am also happy to help if I can, although my parkrun experience is very limited! I will fmail you. |

Yeah, cos she couldn't get out of it! Not true - really because I've done Bramhall and Woodbank parkruns and wanted one a bit closer. So now Hipps has blown my cover you know where else you can get in touch.
