What are your thoughts on the marathon organisers providing energy gels/ drinks along the course? Poll on Fetch suggest majority think not. I think they should. Boston aren't (in case you missed it)

Not fussed personally as would rather take my own gels so can practice with brand/flavour to hopefully avoid any unpredictable consequences from unwise experimentation at 22 miles

I am worried about how many more are running this year. They had a lot of issues last year, so thought they would sort those out before increasing numbers.

Lack of toilets was the big one
There was also no goody bags at the end, which I believe they had addressed

There is going to be more toilets at the start but still not enough! and I think we'll be getting a t-shirt this year and medal. Don't hold your breath for anything else.

Toilets have now been increased from 12 to 20 at the start!
