Who's in for next year or are we all waiting to see if we get a VLM ballot slot?

Not from round there/here. Just wondering cos not local: Is Boston likely to flood every spring? Is that thing called `The Wash` nearby merely a literary device - it never washes out the marathon course, for example? Looks a great event otherwise that I can see.
I like the symmetry with same day as US Boston Marathon as well.

First one last year. Was dry but a bit cold as very flat and open course. Little protectoon. Had rained before the event and the course was a bit muddy but it was generally cleared before the start.

Hi, this will be my first marathon. I signed up once I knew I would not get a place in London.

My main reason for wanting to run this is to confuse Americans, also I was told it was quite flat.

Col- Useful info re: mud clearance factored in. If no wind, then could be pretty quick by the sounds.

Tache - There is that. I`ve always wanted to do the Boston Marathon basically. If only the UK version would offer a downhill course option as well.

How's everyone doing?
I wasn't really planning on doing this one this year, maybe the half, not the full but my mum volunteers at a local Hospice and they were looking for a couple of peepholes to do it for them and it looks like my dear mother has volunteered me :-o
Not sure how this is going to affect my Marathon du Mont Saint Michel at the end of May which I have just won an entry for!!!
