Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Already more people entered ( 657 ) than finished last year ( 635 ), what's the limit, is it 1000 ?

Am I right in saying it's not closed roads, but very quiet country roads for most part ? Was there much traffic on them last year, or do the locals know to avoid ?

There's hardly any traffic at all - the odd tractor maybe!

Is that figure including the half and the funrun or is that just the full, do you know?

The country roads were open just some road closures in town at the start and finish. I didn’t have any problems with traffic during the race.

I wasn't really paying much attention, but IIRC, it was only really the last mile back into Boston where there was traffic, and you're running on the pavement at that point. The very quiet country roads are very quiet and (given the small numbers of people living along the roads), seemed like a good percentage of them were out supporting.

I don't recall any traffic issues out of town. A car or two might have made the landscape more interesting ;)

(Fantastic event. Can't speak highly enough and all that.)

The support was great where people were living and at the water stations (plus the fetchpoint at twenty miles was amazing).

Anyone fancy manning a Fetchpoint? Not sure I fancy running, but I fancy having an excuse to come down to support.
