Wave 3 Corral 1. I am happy to be in the same wave as my club mate who has run Boston before.

Has anyone been able to work out how long each coral will take to cross the start line? There was some further information but I did not understand it properly something to do with breaks and waves.

PCleasby, Waves 1 through 4 will start at 10:00 AM, 10:25, 11:00, and 11:25. Within each wave, there will be 9 corals of 1000 runners, which is the same number as the corals have had in the other years I have run it. Very roughly, it takes about 30 seconds or a little less per coral to cross the start, so a runner in the front of the fifth coral might cross the start about 2 minutes after the gun sounds.

22 miler done today will Hills from about 15 miles. Aching now but I suspect that's my longest training run done. 10 mile race next week and then the taper starts.
