(I like to boldly split infinitives. Besides which - it isn't a proper rule. It's just because you can't do it in Latin, snooty types think it's incorrect to freely do it in English)

(I did actually nitpick split infinitives in a PhD thesis I was examining recently. The other examiner grinned at the candidate and said, "You know there isn't much wrong with your work when the examiners are complaining about split infinitives." I do broadly agree with McG, but feel they should be avoided in formal writing.)

Remind me, are the ghosts before or after the big floating eyeball?

Oh, and there's a band called Ghost of the Robot, mainly notable for having Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer on vocals.
