Sorry and everyone else who wanted a Choice before the end of Friday, let alone Saturday: I've only just caught up.

Anyway, my Choice is the book which Younger Daughter lent to me last week and which I am already a quarter of the way through, and which won the Booker Prize last year... and I have checked and there are at least some copies available at reduced prices, and anyway I dare say it's in libraries by now....

Set in South Africa (no, of course that's not a spoiler).

Been trying to remember what that other one we read was, that was set in South Africa. Not the Doris Lessing. It had a single-word title and was about a disgraced professor who went to live with his daughter... Someone will tell me, I'm sure.
