Then Stevie B wakes a monster up and now 8 years later we can barely get through a week without a new attempt starting!

flyingfinn May 2022 7:35pm, 31 May 2022 3,314 posts	0 flyingfinn To me 'self-supported' implies you can cache food and buy food etc on route but you can't be supplied by anyone else or paced. If you were going to carry everything from the off and only take on water I think you would describe it as 'unsupported'.

For accomodation he planned to bivi a couple of nights, use bothies and youth hostels. He would be doing all his own navigation, water purification and carrying of equipment on the hill.
