I am a bit of a geek and love listening to the bird song
I use the Merlin app all the time and the grandsons now also love it too.
We are lucky that our garden is full of birds, and the wonderful songs (apart from the seagulls)
Would love to see what others hear on their walks

Lovely! I stop and listen on Flossie's walk some mornings, and I'm always a bit surprised Blackcap is frequently listed. I've never knowingly seen a blackcap in the garden.

I’ve just tried to download the app but my ancient iPhone 7 isn’t up to date enough for it 🙁

I managed to get it onto my iPhone 8. It's interesting to see what is being picked up so far. I'm finding it useful to identify birds I've seen in my garden but haven't known what they were!

I was being serenaded by blackcaps in the garden yesterday - they really do have a lovely song

Greenfinches wheezing is my current favourite. Can't see one though! Too green.

This was an interesting walk in El Chorro, near Malaga...
