I've made enquiries, just to see whether it's normal-priced, or whether it's nutty.

This is a nice spot Stirling. Ideal for combining with Falkirk parkrun (or Plean). Could take you for a run* round the woods. I did think of Carlisle but afaik the Sheepmount is still closed with no prospect of re-opening anytime soon. * well, more like a walk these days, it's quite steep in the woods. |

I too, would like one at the Alexandra stadium in Birmingham. If that’s too expensive, what about the track at Loughborough University? Think there’s an indoor and outdoor track there.

They alex would be good In Yorkshire, keepmoat (doncaster), leeds (John Charles centre), or york uni would be sensible outdoor options, and the EIS in Sheffield would be brilliant for an indoor mile |

Another Midlands option would be the Dell Stadium at Kingswinford, where they also hold Dudley parkrun. parkrun.org.uk I ran it in January: fetcheveryone.com/t-13385959 |

sallykate: Not a Fetch thing, but there was a Festival of Miles at Iffley Road this year: ouccc.org.uk Despite the event name, all the serious runners were runingn 800m, 1500m and 3000m races, and then there were a few mile races tacked on to the end of the meeting for 'fun' runners. You gave an estimated finish time and they put you in the appropriate race. We even had a pacemaker (although only one of us was fast enough to follow him ) |

If you came back to Wales on a Friday night in early August, there is another mile that you could have a Fetch meet at. You know the one.........Mike Heare would be pleased to see you back. |
