Lip Gloss
I just poured mine into my bladder and sipped at it from my vest.

Active Root is nice, I remember trying the Green Tea flavour and really liking it! Definitely will start with same method Lip Gloss (though will be in 2x500ml rather than a bladder), it's the hours beyond that which I'm going to experiment with. Got some good ideas from here to start with this Saturday.

The green tea one is the one I like too, I have some Tailwind samples, but haven't got around to trying it yet - good reminder that I ought to see what the fuss is about |

RS I liked tailwind as it didn’t upset my tummy in any way and that’s a bonus cause I have enough problems there without adding to them

I'm honestly still pretty new to regularly going 3h+ but I've found (so far) TW has been the thing that's worked the best in terms of energy and same as Lip Gloss no GI distress. Really like the taste too. I'm sure you'll probably enjoy the Green Tea Buzz as similar to Active Root, I really like that, Colorado Cola and Lemon.

Ohhh great question I use active root I have a big tub and do t want to have to buy sachets and don’t want to create a lot of single use plastic waste. Containers are a good idea maybe measure it out and have a small spoon in the box knowing how many spoons I need per fill up?

I used to use Torq when I raced. DISCLAIMER: I was sponsored by them... I got massive tubs of all their products and because I cycled and most 12 hour+ races were in laps, I would make bottles up before the event and put them ready trailside. However for single lap or multi day events I carried measures with me. Torq also did single measure aluminium canisters. No plastic, re-usable! So I had a few of those in my rucksack to out in bladder and bottle. Worked really well. So I would say find some sort of container big enough to hold 3 scoops? That way you have it all measured out for quick use. I am not keen on plastic, especially not ziplock bags which cant be reused much. Takeaway sauce pots sound perfect though! |

Oh and I still use those Torq canisters! Perfect for ground coffee for a wild camp or bike packing trip into the hills!
