I hope you're all having a great race! I did like this half, even if it was two laps.

Sitting in Cafe Rouge with very stiff legs waiting for a sirloin steak! Very enjoyable race with great crowd support. Went off far too quick and spent several miles trying to slow the pace down, then got to mile 11 and realised I needed to get my skates on to achieve my target time, which I'm pleased to say I managed. Hope it was a good race for everyone else. :)

Well done everyone. :-)

I thought it was a good course, lots of support, well organised but omg, very huge! Smal lol @ my naive "see you at the green start". :-)

1.58.26 for me, and felt pretty ok til 11.5 miles when I went into survival mode. I did pass Superman in the last mile, so that'll do for me.

Great crowds....but didnt see or hear my support :-o

A small moan, and yes this happens at all big races.......will people ever put realistic finish times down, saw white b pen numbers walking at less than a mile (no hobbling) so a bit crowded at the start, no rythym for at least 4k.

But slick organisation and enjoyed the 2 lap course as it meant I got to smell the BBQ at 4 miles twice (torture) and got to chat to loads of runners, and see a few fetch tops!

Good running everyone, now sat here with a cold Cider!

Annoyingly I measured it at 13.26 miles. I was on the rhs too many times at the large bends etc. Expected a slightly larger pb but the long mileage scuppered that. Nevermind!

Yep, measure it long too...Garmin reckons a minute quicker for actual HM....but I still got a 2.5 min PB though so very :-D
