We're at the Theatre Royal watching Lenny Henry in "Fences", it's very good. We're also staying close to the start.
I'm feeling nervous about the race and a bit disappointed that I have no excuses...sore knee is no longer sore, no cold has developed and my right hip is fine. Gah! Hope to see some of you tomorrow. Good luck all!

I'm staying near Oldfield Park so just took the opportunity to have a short run around there and Bear Flat to take in some of my digs from years past. Weather today is much nicer than yesterday; conditions good enough for hot air ballooning I see!
Rather excited about tomorrow so not expecting the best night's sleep but at least it's a nice civilised start time. Good luck everyone!

However it takes an age to get to the start pens due to congestion so give yourself some time.

I've only got an hour OB....just read the race guide which says they call you to the start at 10 
With no train delays I should be fine......:-) you running?

I'll start walking from the village to the pens about half past. It takes a while but you don't want to be there too long as they are in the shade and freeeeeezing.
