Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

From hair to body... I would love a trisuit that is NOT sleeveless, but the ones on the tinterweb are few and far between, and they're really expensive. Is there a reason why the sleeveless version is the most popular one, apart from obviously making your arms move more freely? Anyone know where can I find a reasonably priced trisuit with short sleeves?

Where the use of wetsuits is forbidden, clothing covering any part of the arms below the shoulders and clothing covering any part of the legs below the knees is also forbidden. An exception may be made for competitors taking part in middle and long distance events, and are allowed to wear clothing with sleeves extending from the shoulder to the elbow.

I'd never thought of sleeveless having something to do with rules.. thanks Gobi. Guess I'll just have to keep exposing my hideous arms to the world then. Good job I only do max two triathlons a year.

Given that i'll only be doing my first Oly Tri in August, I know I'm jumping ahead of myself a bit here but a mate of mine is trying to talk me into a possible half IM next summer.

I've been doing a bit of research but am struggling to find a site that lists many half IMs (for this year - I'm just trying to get a feel for what's out there). Fetch has a few listed, of course, but not many. Other sites I've googled have pointed me towards tri sites but even they've not listed many/any half IM events.

is it just that there's so few of them? or am I being a numpty and missed an obvious place to find lists of half IMs? (FWIW I'm based in SE London/N Kent)

Can anyone suggest a good listings site for half IMs please?
