I love scones either plain or cheese - cant have dried fruit so need to experiment with other fruit (i do love a cherry scone).
As you have all filled my head with the thought of scones I may have to make some today..... that will help my diet

I like all scones with all things on them, salted butter, herb butter, pesto, mustard, chutney, cream, clotted cream, jam, marmalade, honey, nutella...
I often wonder how I got so overweight.

we used to eat leftover (? !) Yorkshire puddings with butter and brown sugar. Mum also used to make "apple drop" a big Yorkshire pud cooked with slices of apple dropped in. That was eaten with butter and sugar or with golden syrup
(it's no wonder I struggle with my weight!)
