As you have all filled my head with the thought of scones I may have to make some today..... that will help my diet

Mum also used to make "apple drop" a big Yorkshire pud cooked with slices of apple dropped in. That was eaten with butter and sugar or with golden syrup (it's no wonder I struggle with my weight!)
