We said similar, but a lack of kit and the desire to visit the shop meant we got the wall almost to ourselves because everyone else was clearly outside!

Just Matt
Im loving this climbing, and cant wait to try outdoors. Im tempted with an outdoor taster weekend, but £100 each for the two days is quite a lot, so for now I'll have to stick indoors. I think we'll let our month pass run out at Audley and then go and try Awesome walls in Stockport. Hopefully the new wall in Stoke will open soon?

Morning All.
Am really upping my game with the indoors climbing. I did a 5+ on Monday evening (have only been climbing 4's and 4+'s) so was really chuffed. It was a technical one with some decent holds which made it better for me.
Was very happy once I came down off the wall

Fabulous! Well done, Anj!
We haven't been able to go climbing for ages, mainly because I no longer have gaps between sessions at work, but also because of eL Knee!. But we will be back ...

Loving the weather - have managed to get outdoors on weekday evenings a couple of times, which is always a nice sign of spring. Tried to go to Scugdale yesterday, but car broke down so had to settle for a bit of bouldering at Spoff. after the rescue van had towed us home.
Anyone else getting some sunny rock action?

That sounds idyllic, Mountain Cat
SOOOO looking forward to being closer to good outdoor climbing territory and having time to do it. Relocation first, then retirement

Anyone been climbing recently? The weather's not been great for it over the past week, but before that was excellent!

I've just started back indoor climbing after three months off, and am looking forward to living within easy reach of some proper rocks

I currently have a badly sprained ankle, but was on Arran a couple of weeks ago, so spent lots of time larking around on big granite routes (thus injuring my ankle).
Attempted to climb on Sunday, but the ankle was definitely not up to it. That and the pouring rain convinced me to go home.
