I know it as Ayo, and I have a hand carved set from when my dad worked in Enugu in Nigeria (although it's in storage at my Mum's house ) I tried downloading an app to play, but was sorely disappointed.

There'd be a couple of people sat outside their huts moving small pebbles around a series of holes scooped out of the ground.
