I need to get into that a bit more.
I gather some guy even gets the stage cards printed up for sale each year.
Not sure who, or where to get a hold of these. Just something I am aware of through a different forum.

Hello. Another Monopoly player here! ;)

Has anyone played Scythe, please, and is it recommended? Thank you.

Not played it - but if I'd taken a third photo in another direction that would have been the Scythe section

Play backgammon to a reasonable standard in the view of a friend who plays at a higher standard than me, but don’t do any tournaments etc as prefer to keep it fun.

Had a fun night playing some games with a small group of friends I've known since primary school! Articulate, the 'Your Life' version, followed by Linkee. Good games for playing in a mixed group. Linkee is a connections game, answer four questions and find the link between the answer, then you get a letter card. You have to spell Linkee eventually, so the best person doesn't always win.

Angus, Scythe is awesome. You'll undertstand the mechanics quite quickly into your first game, but the strategy takes a little longer to get the hang of. Its a very well designed, beautiful, nicely taxing engine builder. I'd highly recommend it.

If anyone happens to fall over a copy of the 2005 Avalon Hill version of RoboRally, please shout loudly. I love that game but it's impossible to get hold of.
