Sit at a table with notes of what you want to say on separate pieces of paper spread around you.

Smile when you talk, it can be heard in your voice.

Good luck!

The most obvious thing that occurs to me is that remember the other person can't see you, it will be hard to communicate as there's no body language and intonation will be less so speak slowly and clearly.

Have both a cold drink and a hot drink on your desk. Don't knock them over and/or swear.

I agree with Wobbling - smile. Maybe standing up would help too.

Ensure you are dressed appropriately too, doing it in your PJ's or Onesie will affect how you come across

Good luck.

Ensure you take the call in a quiet room...too much background noise in telephone interviews can make it hard to hear and / or be heard.

If you're not sure what they've said repeat the question back to them and then answer it.

When they come to the usual 'Is there anything you want to ask us?' part don't be afraid to ask questions. If you can't think of anything to ask then repeat your understanding of the role / job ("so this role will require me to do xxxx" etc.). Another one to throw in here (and this is VERY effective) is "How do you see me working in your team?". This question makes the interviewers solution a way for you to be working for them and will give you an extra advantage when there is little to choose between candidates.

Relax, be yourself....

Good luck.

I think its harder to communicate clearly on the phone, so slow down a bit more, be more precise and clear and take your time.

Agree, get all your notes spread out in front of you, everything you want to say have it written clearly in front of you, that's a benefit of this situation.

Quiet/no distractions etc, stay calm and good luck!

If you have a dog disconnect the doorbell, or arrange for someone to take it out. Nothing worse than trying to have a serious talk with someone over the sound of a barking dog.
