I was thinking about the 5k on the 9th, but it's less than a week after Loch Ness, so I'll probably be fit for nothing. I suppose I might manage a gentle jog round!

I might give one or more of the RTC events a go, but suspect I would find it tough, I do struggle with the off road stuff.

RTC, I'm eager to go along just cos it'll be a good indicator of whether I have made progress (y'know, die a little less than last year!) BUT Crathes looks like it'll be one week before my first Marathon attempt so Im worried about injuries.

A 5K on 9th Oct, I could be up for that. I'll check out the details. A week after the Kilomathon though.....if I make it through 16.3 miles, Im sure I could squeeze out 3.1.....Maybe I could just be the Fetch mascot?

TQ - Fraserburgh half is last race of club championship. The second last race is Bennachie Hill Race on 10/10 which I am also doing.

Would be good to see folk on 9/10 and meet you before our wonderful fetch mile. I am doing it despite it being the day before Bennachie cos I think I can take over 5 mins off my PB and I want a better stat on my fetch page. Vain I know!! I've run 22 min 5ks during 10ks so I know I can do it.

I aspire to the Bennachie hill race! Would* love* to give it a go, perhaps try a few attempts and prepare for next year as I still die going up the fire break.
I will definitely come alongon 9th even if not running, I can give loud fetch support :-)

Cool Nywanda will be good to meet you. You should do Bennachie. I will be walking up the hill, I do that at every hill race. I love running down but can't bring myself to run up! I will be wearing fetch colours at the metro race so look out for me. I have mrs shanksi on my top so easy to spot.

UPDATE: Some other club has managed to book 2 lanes from 11 to 12. The events manager apologises but that means we're booked for slightly earlier 10 til 11 at the sports village. I'll see if I can change it on the race portfolio. Hope this doesnt inconvenience anyone too much.
