RIP JEJ - sound is so important in the Star Wars universe, from the scream of TIE fighters to the hum of lightsabers, and his voice performance was perfection. On an entirely different note, I'm rewatching the "new" Battlestar Galactica (now nearly 20 years old!) and having most recently seen Katee Sackoff as Bo-Katan, it's striking how different she is as Starbuck - another great performer. |

Late to The Acolyte. Its great. Just binged 4 episodes in a row. Very unlike me! Loving Dafne Keen, Carrie Ann Moss, Amandla Stenberg (couldn't have named the actress but recognised Rue from Hunger Games!) Space and light sabres and force witches, it's great. :-) G

I enjoyed it but it's not a perfect series and I didn't like the way they structured it. I thought the performances, as HG says, were very good, the Korean actor playing Master Sol particularly.

V and now VI. Treat! Finished Acolyte 8 episodes today. I thought it was fab. No idea why it was need by the public. Morally dubious Jedi, Sith just fighting for his own rights, some theories about life creation from The Force, battles with light sabres, a light dagger and with just Force. Bit of senate politics. Great stuff. Visually stunning. Great music and sound. G
