Set up very well for the second series which now isn’t coming.

It was indeed. Someone might pick it up later. There are so many strands in the overall universe. Leslye Headland who wrote and produced is wife of the Master Venestra (spelling?) Rebecca Henderson.

I was nervous to watch it as I thought I'd hate it that much. But watch it I did and I really enjoyed it.
Skeleton Crew.
Looking forward to ep3 already!

Agreed. My better half has said it's just kids telly, but I'm enjoying it so far too. Hope it has some "purpose" too at some point.

I enjoyed ep 2 more than ep 1. I'm not completely on board with transplanting a Spielbergian suburb into Star Wars but I'll be sticking with it.

A kids show with a Galactic Sex Club? Interesting choice for Disney.
It's a show with kids in it but I'm not convinced it's going to be a kids show.

Agree Nellers!
Quite like the idea of this planet hidden away behind the "barrier", though slightly confused how it is that secretive and hidden, yet the kids know about jedi etc.
Not often we see middle class suburbia in that galaxy far, far away.

Spoiler if you've not watched SC 1&2
I think the big mystery is not so much how it's been hidden but for how long. The Jedi were, post-order 66, discredited by the Empire across the galaxy yet Wim and Neel are playing Jedi on their way to school. Has this place been sequestered away from before the Empire (the Old Republic currency suggests they have) and if so how long before?
From the way the pirates reacted I'm guessing we're talking centuries of isolation, and then were into the next question of why and what their "Great Work" is.

Interesting lines of thought. Clearly the nature of Atatan (sp?) is the big play in this saga.
