"Which is so much more plausible scientifically isn't it?"

Yes. Yes it is.

Much more plausible than midichlorins....

And with that I engage my warp drive as I've got some impossible things to do before Breakfast at Milliways.

WOK was a high water mark for the original cast.

Anyway, both franchises are great and I love them but SW has a very special place in my heart and always will.

I've just dug out my old comics collection to show the lads. Marvel SW 2-6 (never managed to get #1) and a bunch of Empire ROTJ film souvenirs from the releases. My lads thought they must be worth thousands. Unlikely but might be worth 50 quid or so each.

Must Google lens the magazines because I've struggled to find them online.

Just reached ep 10 on my Andor rewatch and sobbing at One Way Out and Kino's revelation. Found it much more upsetting this time around, weirdly.

I'd say that it wouldn't matter if you've seen the films but if I'm pushed to make a choice it would be Andor then The Madalorian....?

What does others think?

I don't think the order really matters too much. Obviously if you're watching Mando do season 1 then 2 or you're just going to be confused. ;-)

Beyond that, though, I don't think it really matters. The films are the big tentpoles on which the rest of the stuff hangs. If you've seen them there's not really much of an issue diving in where you have the most interest.

If you're doing the animated stuff as well I'd suggest starting with Rebels because it's really good rather than because it's in sequence. Rebels and Clone Wars fill in some of the gaps between the movies, and Clone Wars particularly makes the prequel trilogy better on rewatch (some of the character development and motivation happens offscreen and with some big leaps if you just watch the films, but is right there in Clone Wars).

If you want them ranked on what's best to worst it's always subjective but for me:

Andor
Mando
Rebels
The Bad Batch
Clone Wars
Book of Boba Fett (sort of a Mando series 2.5)
Resistance (I've only ever managed a couple of episodes of this and I wasn't really very impressed. Maybe I should have stuck with it. Did anyone else have a different experience?)

There's more stuff due out through 2023. An Ahsoka series, something called "Skeleton Crew" which is a spin off from Mando S3 if I understand correctly, and Andor S2 is filming already. Then there's a new series of The Bad Batch too, which I quite enjoyed.
