Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Bean: Whatever I have to hand. Ground in the minion *
Method: Cold brew in the fridge, then passed through aero press.
Milk: Hell no!
Sugar: ^^^See milk.

* so named because the new grinder looks like a one eyed minion...

I like affogat... a proper affogate that is: ona ball of proper vanilla icecream at the bottom of a longdrink glass, then poor a fresh espresso over it, eat the melting icecream imbued with coffee with one of those long spoons :)

It was my favourite dessert in my local Italian restaurant when I lived in Durham.

Actually. Are there any other cold brew devotees out there?

I find it great for carrying when you can't get access to more than hot water.
It is possible to create the most insanely caffeinated brews :-p

Bean: Old Brown Java (Tesco (I think) ground
Method: Filter maker - Aldi bean to cup that refuses to grind and I can't find the receipt for the three year guarantee and they had them in again, darn
Milk?: Spot of cream
Sweetener: A little demerara.
Cup: My nicest Crown Ming coffee cup.
Result: Tasty brew. Proper coffee flavoured

I had a cappuccino out today, quite good but a little weak. Better than well known high street chains though. And slightly cheaper.

I have a rant prepared about well known high street chains, but I'll sit on it for a little.
