Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Another cup of the Mexican bean imbibed and that's me done for the day coffee-wise.

I can only have one strong cup in the week but often get away with 2 on weekend days.

Off to the 2-day coffee roasters tomorrow to get some more beans.

I have coconut palm sugar too. I'm going to take it into work next week to have with my coffee.

I use a Vietnamese coffee dripper which sits on my cup as no hob at work.

It's nice in pancakes with melted banana and toasted coconut.

bean: posh instant, Kenco Millicano (which doesn't taste a lot different from ordinary instant)
method: kettle
milk: Kara Coconut
sweetener: none. If I have anything it would be a bit of cinnamon.
result: yum. I very much like proper coffee as well but can't usually be bothered to make it at home. Instant is like a different drink really.

Result: a punchy, warming drink that increased happiness levels and prepared the body for action :)

Although I do admit that the process of opening the jar of beans, filling the grinder and the smell of freshly ground beans, followed by the smell of brewing coffee is actually better than the taste of it. The ritual of making enhances the experience 10 fold!

I don't find it actually takes any longer to make ground than it does instant and the taste is far superior

What The Actual Fleecy
Bean: Waitrose French roast
Grinder: Krups (I had to write a whole blog about that saga and that was only half of it!! Love this one though), ground at home yesterday and popped into a tin to take camping with us

Method: silver stove top espresso maker
Milk: semi skimmed
Sweetener: 1 white sugar cube
Location: in a campsite in Berkshire
Result: not as nice as my usual but infinitely better than instant.

Non-tea drinker here and nowhere to talk about the caffeine bean, so I thought I'd start a thread. ...
