Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nice 'Hog.

I've had so much coffee today, I ended up with a coffee "whitey"! 3 coffees out before 09:30.

Coffee has just arrived by post from North Star in Leeds; all cardboard outer packaging, home compostable coffee bags, and excellent coffee (well the one I tried (Guatamala Finca La Bolsa) was excellent).

Sounds like an exciting parcel Jacdaw. I've had orders from Rapanui arrive all in paper with no plastic at all (inc tape). So nice to unwrap a parcel.

I had a coffee out with a friend. A piccolo at Spicer & Cole on Gloucester Road. Proper size. Proper wee and strong. The same coffee at Boston Tea Party is now too big and weak.

I'm doing pot luck tonight - local late night shop. Need coffee before I leave for work tomorrow morning and cupboards are bare.

Ended up with Co-op Guatemalan (even tho corner shop). Seems quite invigorating.

Well, I'm happy with the Guatemalan. It:s rich with a tiny bit of acidity and it's fine. I'm using Rude Health hazelnut milk. Mild lactose intolerance runs in my family, so I've never got cow:s milk at home.

Great find from the sound of it.
I just opened a new kilo of lavazza beans. Pleasantly but unexitedly familiar. Bought two bags the other day when on offer for £9/kilo in stead of £14.

I had a lovely cup off coffee to warm me up after a bit of gardening. Nice Brazilian bean, freshly ground, nicely brewed, hugged like an old friend. Until the feckin dogs drank it for me when I answered the phone.

Oh dear Mum. Wired dogs?

I'm pleased to say that I'm not a coffee addict. I can go without and not be crotchety. How do others fare if they miss a day or two?

Non-tea drinker here and nowhere to talk about the caffeine bean, so I thought I'd start a thread. ...
