I was born in 1970, 70 is my favourite number and to be honest I have been here a very long time.
During this time I have met 100s of you, watched kids grow up, seen friends come and go and watched relationships blossom and fail.
Fetch the site is a long way from where it came from and all of it for the better. Ian has done a great job of creating a community. It even survived the Runnersworld take over.
I appreciate that I am a marmite personality and to be honest I even annoy myself when I look back at some of the things I have posted but I'm always going to be me. I have opinions and I share them even when not wanted. I like to think I have mellowed a little down the years but I'm not always sure.
Reality is I'm me, they call me GOBI .... My nickname is NOT an accident :¬)
I just wanted to say thank you Fetch. We are all different and we don't all get along but thanks to the growth of the site we all share an interest in living better be it eating, running, cycling whatever through everything there is a common goal.
Well done indeed sir and see you in another 70000 posts.

EP - we are the old guard for sure, I really need Fetch to tell me when I joined. I think it was 2005, all I know is that it was a long time ago!!

Gobi I think we were both 2005 I know my membership number is in the teens and that there is only 1 other who has been here longer than me (other than Fetch himself of course)
