Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well done Sarah and hello @Welshpoppy !
It came on to rain quite hard while I was walking the dog so I've delayed my run for a cup of coffee. It's nearly stopped now so I'd better get out there. Must say the thought is not appealing but I expect I'll be glad once I've done it.

I was going to put kit on when I got up but I'm just too tired and the weather is so awful. I'm going to try to go for a walk instead

Of course you can @Welshpoppy :) It really doesn't matter how far you run or don't in here!

I'm suffering with a low level virus that's making me feel terrible, and some joint pain that is contributing. Yesterday's run was ill-advised but I'd said I'd help some clubmates get out running in preparation for upcoming races.

Today's news - maybe less headline grabbing but a serious safety concern: Consumer Financial Protection Bureau completely on line.

Steel tariffs and straws dominate the news.

I didn't quite get to my planned 5 miles but I did get really quite wet and cold, and now feel as if a bout of runner's colon is brewing. What was I saying about being pleased I went for a run?
