After having decided I wasn’t doing the Yorkshire 10 mile race in York on 15th October I have now gone and entered it 😃

Main reason for not entering it was because I thought I would be nowhere near my time last year but having actually looked at my recent training I’m doing a lot better than I thought was.

Plus the start is about 2 miles from my house so easy to get to. So could I be reinstated please Serendippily 🙂

I went to club at lunchtime today. It was the 1 mile race and after the handicap was applied I came 3rd. :)

No, I feel that doing a long race with someone else wouldn’t give me the freedom to run at the pace I want to.

Track was great tonight, 10x2 mins with 1 min recovery. Managed to hit all my reps at target pace. :-)

Will hit 100 miles for the month tomorrow teatime, meeting a mate for a run.

Idris, I was really tempted by the 10 miler but have got quite a few races booked in so decided to not do any more races for a while. Was so tempting though.

I’ve done it the past couple of years getting (slightly quicker) last year so am hoping to again. The fact I can walk to the start line is a very good point in its favour (the hill at the end isn’t but is OK!)
