Well done to son of Cheeky’s Dad 👏👏.

I drove from Cornwall to Rochdale and back again the same week I passed my test in an old Cortina. I thought my arms and shoulders were going to drop off I was so tense 😬

I still think that Cheeky's Dad is the dad of a pooch but really I know that Cheeky is the son! Well done Cheeky!!

A placement in Padstow? Sounds interesting. Also, a long way to drive when you've just passed your test. Good luck to him.


He’s doing a year at the National Lobster Hatchery so hopefully it will be interesting and yes, it’s a looong way. I’m going to go with him and come back on the train, which I think he’s actually quite pleased about. He’ll do the driving but I’ll be there to lend moral support (and most likely pay for petrol 😁)

Who even knew there was a National Lobster Hatchery?! Very interesting for him. Going with him sounds a good idea.

Rest day here as calf feeling a wee bit tight. Or may be paranoid as I have a half marathon on Sunday.
